RSS: How to set up a custom search
Cheap Sports Tickets provides an RSS search for every set of results on the site. It is also possible to create an RSS feed for a particular, custom search. The instructions below show how to do this, keeping in mind that steps 2 to 4 can also be followed for any RSS link which you find on the site.
1. In this example we first select all Football events in England from the current date until 31 October 2014.
2. The results page is then displayed. Your date selection appears in the address bar, as shown by the upper red arrow. The lower red arrow points to the RSS link for this set of results. Place your mouse over this orange RSS icon and copy the hyperlink to the RSS feed.
3. Paste the hyperlink into your preferred RSS Reader. In this example we will use the google RSS reader.
4. Once added, the identical results that appeared on the site now appear in your custom RSS feed. Simply refresh this feed to retrieve any new events which meet your search criteria.
